Feckenham

Located just five miles south-west of Redditch and 11 miles east of the city of Worcester, Feckenham is a picturesque English village set within idyllic countryside. With an active community, a village green and a host of local amenities, Feckenham retains its village feel while offering residents all the benefits of nearby towns and cities.

There are two busy, family-run pubs and two parish churches in the heart of Feckenham, while the recently-refurbished Village Hall hosts a wide variety of social and community events.

The village has its own first school, and the local secondary is a short distance away in the village of Astwood Bank

For those who enjoy the outdoors, the surrounding countryside is a tranquil place to explore and recharge the batteries. There is also a nature reserve at nearby Wylde Moor.

Redditch town centre is only a few minutes’ drive away and offers a wide selection of indoor and outdoor leisure activities including theatres, pubs, restaurants and a busy local shopping centre.

Worcestershire boasts a relatively low unemployment rate with high UK migration into the area. It’s a region that is investing in its future, with the Worcester Growth Corridor (including Worcester SIX) development set to bring 6,800 jobs to the region by 2024.

The parish of Feckenham enjoys easy access to both the M5 and M42 motorways and can be easily reached via the Redditch dual carriageway. The nearest railway stations are Redditch and Evesham.
