Community Fund Update: £36,900 Donated so far to Local Charities and Projects

We’re delighted to announce that since starting our Community Fund, we’ve donated a total of…

£36,900

Since it began over two years ago, the fund has raised money to support a range of local charities and projects that are close to our customers’ hearts.

With each property sold through Nicol & Co, we offer our vendors the opportunity to donate £100 to a cause of their choice.

The amount we donated more than doubled this year, increasing from £12,000 in 2021 to £24,900 in 2022. We’re so proud of the good work the donations are doing across Malvern, Worcester and Droitwich.

Making a difference to local communities

With their Community Fund donations, our vendors choose to support the vital work of many different charitable organisations and projects in the local area.

St Richard’s Hospice and Acorns Children’s Hospice have received over £10,000 and £2,500 respectively. £2,500 was shared between food banks in Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern and Pershore, and the Worcestershire Homeless Appeal Street Kitchen. The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust received £1,000 while the Worcester Warriors Community Fund received £500.

We’ve also been able to make donations to 15 schools across the county as well as many one-off gifts to smaller organisations who are doing great things known only to our vendors.

A heartfelt thank you

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank every Nicol & Co customer who has given us the opportunity to donate with the Community Fund over the last two years. Thanks to your charity nominations, we’ve been able to support projects that are making a real difference across the county.

We’re hoping to see the total raised grow in 2023 as we donate to more local charities, projects, and initiatives through the fund, enriching the local community and the lives of its residents.
