Creative approach by Nicol & Co helps market new Malvern properties

Leading Worcestershire residential property developer Lioncourt Homes has teamed up with estate agents Nicol & Co in an innovative marketing exercise that is benefitting a national animal charity.

Nicol & Co has wrapped the entire back of the Blue Cross charity shop on the corner of Barnards Green Road and Upper Chase Road in Malvern to market Lioncourt Homes’ new developments, Malvhina Court located on Brook Farm Drive and Eastward Rise located on Eastward Road.

The prestigious new developments offer a range of homes from two-bedroom semi-detached starter homes right through to four and five bedroom detached executive homes.

The innovative project was all organised by Nicol & Co on behalf of the developer, including obtaining planning permission and organising the artwork.

And as well as paying Blue Cross, the occupiers of the shop, for the advertising space, Nicol & Co has also made a donation to say “Thank you” to the animal charity.

Matt Nicol, managing director of Droitwich-based Nicol & Co, explained how his team came up with a suitable design that worked within the layout of the windows, which until recently were a bright blue colour.

Mr Nicol said: “These are the third and fourth successive developments we have been appointed on by Lioncourt Homes who have a wide range of sites currently underway across the Midlands.

“We were seeking an innovative means of improving the visibility of these developments, and we came up with this novel way of informing residents and visitors to Malvern about the sites that are in two fantastic locations.

“We’re used to dealing with planning authorities on such projects and found Malvern Hills very helpful with the application once it was understood what it was for.”

Mr Nicol added: “This is what we’re all about at Nicol & Co – going out of our way for our clients to ensure they get great results.”

Colin Cole, chief executive officer of Lioncourt Homes, said: “We’re delighted with this great example of creative innovation that Nicol & Co has demonstrated for attracting attention to our developments.

“This is exactly the reason why we appointed them to assist with our marketing, because they help us to achieve top results in terms of interest, viewings and sales.”

Lioncourt Homes is an award-winning developer constructing new properties in desirable locations throughout central England. Its properties range from one-bedroomed apartments and starter homes to executive five-bedroomed detached homes.

Pat Kimber, area sales manager at Lioncourt Homes, added: “We aim to give everyone the chance to own their dream home, with designs that provide aspirational living in well thought-out accommodation and attractive looking developments.”

Nicol & Co, which has a second officer in Worcester, is planning to open a third base in Malvern in the New Year.

The company was among the top 3% of more than 15,000 estate agents across the UK to feature in the latest Best Estate Agent Guide, winning awards for its marketing, results and customer service.
