Barbourne and Northwick are located just north of Worcester city centre. These sought-after areas run along the banks to the east of the River Severn and alongside the Pitchcroft, Worcester’s hunt-racing circuit. Worcester benefits from access to two M5 junctions (six and seven) and good mainline rail links from its two stations, one of which is located just south of Barbourne.
Both Barbourne and Northwick have access to local convenience stores, pubs, takeaways and other retailers along the main roads skirting the areas. Nearby Worcester city centre offers a good range of high street shops.

The region is recognised as a strategically strong location due to its position on the motorway network. To the east of the city, the Worcester Growth Corridor (including Worcester SIX) development is forecast to bring 6,800 jobs to the area by 2024.
Proximity to Worcester’s centre allows easy access to the city ’s railway stations. These provide services to Birmingham, Cheltenham, Gloucester and London. GWR has put a two-hour service from Worcester to London Paddington into its timetables for 2018. They are planning to increase services to the capital to two per hour.
Junctions six and seven of the M5 provide easy access to the North and the South West.
