Nicol & Community
We care about our local community just as much as you do. Our Community Fund is here to support local schools, projects and initiatives in and around Worcester, Droitwich and Malvern that we know you care about, and we do too.
We want to be part of helping our schools and local community throughout the year, not just at Summer Fairs, Christmas Markets and Sports Days. So with every property we sell, we will donate £100 to the school or community project of our seller’s choice.
Of course, we’ll continue to support the fairs and markets too!
Our Community Fund
Being rooted in the community has been part of our culture since we started Nicol & Co in 2009. Over the years we have supported a number of charitable and community based initiatives including a host of school fairs, sports clubs and eco-projects.
Owner Matt Nicol and his team are passionate and proactive members of the community they live and work in. Fund-raising events have included causes such as the rebuilding of the children’s play area in The Lido Park in Droitwich; donating £100 to the NHS for every instruction signed up in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and giving Amazon tablets to three local primary schools to support online and remote learning.
The Difference It Makes
At the heart of our Community Fund are the people & organisations that each £100 donation goes toward.
One of our most popular beneficiaries among our vendors is St Richards Hospice, who have to date received over £5,000 as a result of the scheme with that number still rising.
