New build homes with ‘gold’ energy efficiency rating for sale in Worcestershire village

The last two new homes on an energy efficient development in a village near Worcester are available for purchase via leading local estate agency Nicol & Co.

Hayfield Grove, in the village of Hallow, is the first development from 5-star housebuilder Hayfield to achieve the gold standard of energy efficiency.

It comprises 55 zero carbon-ready homes – bungalows, detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses – that are all EPC A-rated and feature Hayfield’s signature eco-specification.

The development  has proved so popular that Nicol & Co is now selling the last two homes: a three-bedroom ‘Dassett’ family home, and a five-bedroomed executive ‘Bourton’ property.

Heather Turner, new homes specialist at Nicol & Co, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer these two premium eco-conscious homes, fitted with thoughtful interiors and the best fixtures, fittings and appliances.

“These homes sit at the heart of this charming village – with the facilities of a county town just minutes away.

“The five-bedroomed Bourton home offers a spacious sitting room, study, dining room, kitchen and breakfast room and a family room on the ground floor.

“The equally stylish three-bedroomed Dassett house has a sitting room on the ground floor with a 24ft long kitchen/dining/family room.”

The Dassett design features kitchens with Silestone worktops with a full height splashback to hob and upstand as well as Silestone worktops and upstands to utility rooms, equipped with wall cabinets from Omega.

All homes are equipped with fully integrated luxury Siemens appliances including multifunctional oven, induction hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

The Bourton home is fitted with an additional oven with microwave function, as well as Minoli floor tiles to the kitchen/dining, utility, cloakroom, hall and store under stairs.

Karndean flooring is fitted to the kitchen/dining, utility, cloakroom, hall and store under stairs of the Dassett.

Contemporary white Laufen bathroom suites with chrome fittings and chrome towel rails are fitted in the Bourton, while contemporary white ROCA bathroom suites with chrome fittings and chrome towel rails are the choice for the Dassett.

Each home also benefits from underfloor heating, air source heat pumps, smart electric vehicle fast-charging points and solar PV panels.

Ms Turner added: “This new collection of homes occupies a scenic position in the village of Hallow – a popular area for families and those searching for an active countryside lifestyle.

“The village includes St Philip and St James Church, the Ofsted ‘Good’ rated Hallow C of E Primary School, a sports ground, village green, post office and convenience store all within walking distance. The classic country pub, The Crown Inn, is also close

“It is rare to be able to offer properties that combine this level of comfort and craftsmanship along with an EPC A-rating for energy efficiency. We are expecting them to sell fast, so anyone interested should hurry to contact us to arrange a viewing.”
